So, who are these guys? Not heroes, that's for damn sure. The cast of Space Punks is well, just that – rebellious and clever with a penchant for plunder.
Leave your ideals at the door. Whether they're hacking shady megacorporations, sticking up for the little guy, or running stolen goods from one planet to another, all of our outlaws have one thing in common: a love of loot.
Sure, they've got a code. They may even have hearts of gold. But that doesn't mean they won't pawn them for the right price. Like cheese and wine, they're better when paired together. For maximum fun and ass-kicking, pick an outlaw that synergises with your squad or whoever suits your solo playstyle.
Duke
Vain and talented with a passion for breaking the rules, Duke is a jack of all trades on the battlefield.
Jack of all trades, master of… some. |

Who is this guy? |
After getting kicked out of military school for "bad behaviour" (having too much fun), he took jobs with any crew that promised plunder. Fast forward a few years and he's a grenade-touting, decoy-deploying badass who can hold his own and buff his crew to inflict maximum pain on anyone stupid enough to cross his path. Whether you're new to the Space Punks scene or a veteran outlaw, you can't go wrong with Duke. |
||
Synergies |
Happy to roll with a squad, Duke's decoy abilities and buffs can take the heat off of Finn's fists and create space for Bob to set traps. |
||
Combat Role |
All-rounder, mid-to-close range |
Eris
Two things about Eris: she's good with a knife and loves a bit of drama.
Flies like a butterfly, stings like a swarm of flesh-eating nanobots |

Who is this gal? |
A hacker who decided to go half-cyborg on a whim. Her agility and ability to control the nanobots in her body make her a hard weirdo to beat. Known for streaming across the battlefield in a streak of black bot goo, Eris can make almost anything out of them: flesh-eating blobs, nano blades, even impaling spikes. As an infiltrator, she's careful about the fights she takes on. Her blade-and-bot combo takes some skill to wield, but Eris is a stealthy fun addition to any band of outlaws. |
||
Synergies |
Known for joining crews just to see if a fight breaks out, Eris works best with Duke and Bob. Anything that takes the heat off her in battle – like Duke's decoy or Finn's traps – helps her close in and devastate the enemy. |
||
Combat Role |
Infiltrator, close range |
Bob
If you're in the mood for mid-range combat with a few crowd control tricks up your sleeve, Bob's your guy (well, bug).
The galaxy's baddest bug. |

||
Who is this bug? |
Armed to the teeth with landmines, combat drones, and turrets, he wastes enemy crowds with the flick of a wrist. Ideal for setting traps and picking off enemies, But bug beware – though tough and fast on his feet, his shield pool dries up fast...so maybe don't get hit. |
||
Synergies |
Bob knows that the more misfits there are on a job the better the odds of making it out alive (and getting paid). Pair his crowd control skills with Finn's brawler instincts or Eris's slice-and-dice moves for an explosive combination. |
||
Combat Role |
Mid-range, crowd control |
Finn
Everyone loves a Tugar – or at least that's what Finn would say if you asked him about it.
The pint-sized juggernaut. |

||
Who is this guy? |
A street-smart pilot who grew up defending himself from bullies, Finn stays out of fights unless they're brought to him. Once things kick-off, it's all over. A brawler with rockets and the ability to pull enemies close, he's a nightmare on the battlefield. Even so, he shares the beatdown love – Finn's buffs make allies invincible, allowing them to take down swarms of enemies without a single scratch. If you give this Tugar a try, be sure to strategise before rushing into battle. |
||
Synergies |
No stranger to rolling with a squad, Finn works best with Eris and Duke. His magnetism makes it easy for Eris to wipe enemies out, while rockets create space for Duke to do his thing. |

Combat Role |
Brawler, close range |
